Katina

Katina has loved the tentacle ring since she first saw it in Ivaan's store on Queen Street West. She had always dreamed of owning it in yellow gold, set with rubies.  She imagined wearing it on her index finger.

August 18th, 2011 was Katina's and Serge's tenth wedding anniversary.  He'd asked me to secretly make up the tentacle ring and set it with ten rubies, one for each year of their marriage.  Serge took Katina out to dinner to celebrate. Part way through the meal, Serge got down on one knee and proposed to Katina all over again.  This is the ring he offered her.   Not surprisingly, she said yes.

Serge told me the sweetest thing about their marriage.  He said, "These ten years have flown by like ten minutes.  I am so lucky to have a woman like Katina in my life."
